When Jonathon and I were picking things out for our wedding registry we knew I we had to have a beautiful set of everyday dishes. Of course these everyday dishes aren't really going to be used everyday, but they will be used for entertaining for less formal events.
When I stumbled upon the 4-piece place settings of Sophie Conran for Portmeirion I fell in love and it was a bonus that Jonathon really liked the set too. It wasn't too frilly nor was it boring. It's natural pottery look makes this set unique and unlike anything else I've seen out there.
It wasn't until after my wedding that I found out that this set also came in several other colors. Two of my favorite colors colors from this line is Celadon (ice blue) and Biscuit (warm yellow). I would really love to purchase some extra pieces in this two colors to add little kick to my white dishes. Here are some additional pieces I'm considering adding to my collection along with some other items that I think would work well together.
